
How to apply
Students
CRITERIA
for selection of students applying for the Socrates/Erasmus
Programme for the academic 2006/2007
- Full-time and part-time undergraduates and Ph.D. students who have
successfully covered the courses from the first two semesters of their study in
the Bulgarian university.
- Priority will be given to those students who have excellent and very good
grades during the whole period of their study.
- Practical skills in the respective language – above upper-intermediate
level.
- Special interests in the field for which the student applies on the basis
of covered electives and respective teachers’ judgments.
- Only those
students who are Bulgarian citizens, students officially recognized as fugitives
or foreigners permanently living in Bulgaria have the right to participate.
- Only those
students who had not participated in the Erasmus student mobility in previous
years have the right to participate.
The
coordinators have the right to include additional criteria.
Candidates
will be selected on the basis of the stated criteria and after an interview
where students will present their motivation for participation in the programme.

Lecturers
C R I T E R I

for selection
of lecturers from Shumen University applying for
Socrates/Erasmus Programme
for the
academic 2006/2007

Practical

teacher
applies on the basis of
courses
which they teach (compulsory and optional), publications, participation in
conferences, etc.

The right
to participate in the teacher mobility programmes have all lecturers
regardless of their position (full-time or part-time) or academic
title/rank.
-
Priority
to participate will be given to those of the teachers who have not
participated in a teacher mobility before.
Teachers
will only have the right to participate in the teacher mobility programmes
once within an academic year.
The
coordinators have the right to include additional criteria.
Candidates
will be selected on the basis of the stated criteria and after an interview
where students will present their motivation for participation in the programme.
